How do I slow down a song to learn it by ear?+
Import the song into Otoha and drop the speed to 0.75x or 0.5x. Pitch stays unchanged, so the notes you hear are in the original key.
Does slowing down lower the pitch?+
No. Otoha keeps pitch constant, so at 0.5x the notes are the same pitch, just slower.
Can I loop just one section?+
Yes. Set an A-B range and that section repeats automatically — ideal for working through a solo bar by bar.
Can it transpose to another key?+
Not currently. Speed changes always keep the original key.
